Infarm began in the fields of Goondiwindi while visiting clients for a drone mapping business.

A couple of farmers voiced their frustrations with weeds and toyed with the idea of using drones to find them.

It sounded simple. The tech was there. How hard could it be?

Well, it turns out - really hard.

We quickly discovered that the modern tech stack had forgotten farmers. Agriculture is a mess of "almost compatible" systems.

We had to muster a team of expert nerds who could build a weed solution that plays nice in the real world. We worked relentlessly to build a 'drone to tractor'workflow that fits into daily farm operations.

We've test custom drones. Bogged utes. And streamed enough data to make Microsoft suspicious.

(They literally called us to figure out what we were doing 'out here'.)

Luckily that call ended up in a few partnership with big-tech that helped us develop our agricultural AI solutions.

Today, we're scaling the Weed IQ while building AI solutions in other ag sectors.

We're proud to build solutions we can stand behind, so farmers can work without fighting their equipment.

It's been a slog, but we're hell-bent on solving headaches for the farmers that feed us.
